Mr. Zheng is the founder of DM Capital and CIO of Harmony and Member of the Investment Committee of the Essence DM Dental Fund.  Mr. Zheng was the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Longlife Group (8037.hk). He orchestrated a restructuring of the company between 2007 and 2009. Before that Mr. Zheng managed discretionary stock accounts in Hong Kong for family and friends between 2004 and 2007, mainly practicing in a friendly activist strategy.  The investment portfolio reached USD 50 million with approximately 500% total return to investors.

 

Mr. Zheng has held senior positions in international and domestic Chinese pharmaceutical companies like GlaxoWellcome and SmithKline Beecham (now GSK) and Jiangzhong Pharmaceuticals (600750.sh) and also investment management positions at private equity firms like Tiantu Capital (Shenzhen).

 

Mr. Zheng was the first consultant McKinsey & Company recruited in Canada and stationed in mainland China. At McKinsey, Mr. Zheng was involved in a dozen cross-border acquisition, entry strategy and organizational efficiency projects in the sectors of: consumer products, building materials, pharmaceuticals, equipment, and technology.

 

Mr. Zheng holds an MBA degree from Ivey Business School at University of Western Ontario, Canada. He also recieved a Master's degree from University of Toronto, Canada.
